Thebulldog evolution goes back to possiblythe early centuries. Has far back has 1209 during the reign of king john. This descendant of the alaunt, of which there were three types, they have a proven track record overthe centuries as king of the canine working dogs. Excellence and versatility of the highest standard known to man makes the breed a jot too it's enthusiasts. The bulldog is low in stature, deep chested and strongly madeabout the shoulders and thighs the muscles of both of which are extremely developed. Shaped like a hound but heavier in build, there heads are broad, nose is short and the underjaw projects beyond the upper giving them a fierce and disagreeable aspect. We at RTK have been breedeing bulldogs for the last 14 years and have more than a insight into the various bulldog typesaround. And over the years we have imported 11 bitches and 3 dogs from the USA and nothern europe, and also exported to europe USA and southern ireland in order to conform to the old butchers dogs standards were bulldogs were bred to look and be unapproachable by strangers and excel in not only catchwork and herding but property and personal/family guardians. We at RTK have been picky with our line breeding. In a nutshell we let go of them thatdon't conform too our standards regardless of whothey were bred by hence our motto the uglier the better and for a bulldog that still looks and acts like one. RTK bulldog standards Females 20" and over Males 22" and over big boned, blocky with prefrence to pumpkin/ round heads. Temperament Pet quality too owner.
